Details: Winner of N150,000 cash prize at the Canadian Gateway Interschool Debate

I wrote all the speeches for this debate and coached the pupils: In the first round, we were 50 points above the runner-up; at the final stage, the school Principal and Teachers complimented me for a great job: my pupils were outstanding. Afterwards, I received a cash prize - from my school - as a form of recognition for my impact as a speech and debate coach.

Best Mathematician in Lagos, Nigeria, at the Royal National Mathematics Challenge

In 2021, five of my pupils made the honour roll and received a Bronze Medal while one of them (Orie Somto C.) came in FIRST position in Lagos State, Nigeria - at the Royal National Mathematics Challenge. This pupil achieved this feat while he was in Grade Four - not even the highest class in the competition

VanguardLive Tv Talk Show

VanguardLive Tv speech: it took me 30 mins to write these speeches and I had to coach the kids in one day because the notice was quite short. Even though I would have loved them to present the speeches more professionally, I am glad they could do it well since we had little time to prepare for it. I am proud of them. And you know what? Some adults can't face a camera, not to talk of facing a camera in a prestigious newspaper house like Vanguard. So, again, kudos to these kids!!! PS: It takes more than I large part of you to pull this off with kids; it takes all of you!

Meet Murphy Irehovbude - fondly called, "Prof" by family and acquaintances due to his study culture. As a passionate teacher and content writer, he does wonders with words.
